RULES
(All DUPR events have a .30 buffer)
Failure to follow DUPR rules could result in loss of entry fee.

DUPR/AGE at registration is used for determining eligibility of rated events. (This is actual age, not Pickleball PPA age, must be 50 years old)

If you do NOT have a DUPR (NR), it is input as that of your partners. (I am 3.7, my partner is entered at 3.7. Our combined total is 7.4) For MLP events, if someone on your team does not have a DUPR, they will take the average of all three others players.

DUPRs are not rounded and cut off at the hundreth decimal. (4.389 is calculated as 4.38)

If neither player has a DUPR, please reach out prior to registration.

Women receive a .50/deduction from DUPR calculation. This reduction does not count towards M7.5X, M8.5X, M9.5X MLP, or Women's specific events.

Seniors (50+) receive a .50/deduction from DUPR calculation. THIS APPLYS TO ALL EVENTS.

Women's & Senior reductions CAN be stacked for a total of 1.0

Any players intentionally logging losses to lower their DUPR will be immediately banned for 90 days. Second offense will result in lifetime ban from all Vizualspots events. No refunds will be given for prepaid events.

*Delaminated, or paddles in question are subject to testing. Paddles determined to be delaminated will need to be replaced prior to start of new game. (Demo Paddles provided by Pickleball Cabana will be available)
MLP Style Events
Format

Round Robin Seeding
(3-4 Rounds, No Dream Breakers in Pool Play)

1 game, scores 1 point.
(Ex. You win 2 mixed, and womens, you score 3, opponent scores 1.)
Total wins then point differential will be used to determine seed.

Single Elimination Bracket
(Every team makes the bracket for a chance at the MONEY)
Rules

All games are played to 15. Freeze at 14.

Must win on serve.

No dream breakers in pool play.

All players must have a DUPR to participate.

You CAN play both morning and afternoon events.

MLP 18: 7am - 3pm
MLP 16: 3pm - 10pm

Take your pick between two different divisions.
Social or Advanced
The Social division is set up for players/partners looking to log some good matches, play for prizes, and smaller cash pool.
The Advanced divison is geared towards the 4.5+ player looking to focus on the dinking before the drinking. (Highier Cash Payouts)
There is NO DUPR requirement for either division, but please do your best to catogorize yourself appropriately.
Both divisions will play a similar style format with round robin and bracket.
Social bracket is 1-15. Advance is 2/3 to 11.
